Do you wonder if you'll ever feel good enough? If you'll ever feel happy and confident? You’ve tried to figure things out on your own with books, courses, apps, diets, and thinking positively. You mostly have your stuff together, except that nagging childhood trauma that is holding you back. Sometimes you feel better, you’re able to achieve a lot, and no one else would know that you need some help. I create a safe, comforting space for you to reflect and learn how to move forward.
My Background and Approach
I have been a therapist since 2010. I've worked with a diverse array of populations including youth experiencing homelessness, families in crisis, adults with suicidal ideation, and at an outpatient clinic with people 5-95 with a variety of mental health concerns. I have specialized training in working with people with trauma and am EMDR certified. My approach to therapy is to be a human first, to connect, to listen, and to offer feedback in the moment that will help you move forward. Some of the types of therapy I use include EMDR, IFS, ACT, and a somatic, mindfulness based approach.
