About My Clients
I specialize with children 0-5, neurodivergent/queer/questioning people of all ages, and couples. My individual sessions are trauma informed and social justice oriented with children, teens, and adults. I love helping with skills for neurodivergence, adjusting to life changes, parenting, pre/post natal and relationship issues. My couples are often Queer, Polyam, and Kink; although all couples are welcome. I also help couples with mental health impacts, parenting, sex issues, and identity.
My Background and Approach
At my core, I'm a helper and I love providing people with skills to advance their goals; whether that is finding your identity, making that career move, or becoming a more present partner or parent. I'm relational and real in session. I understand how society, our past, our present, family dynamics, and work/school impact us in different ways. I can help you see the big picture and help you make informed choices based on those external factors and what's happening internally. I love working with children. I'm trained in working with children 0-5 specifically and older. I'm a mother myself and love teaching parents assertive parenting skills. I can help children with social, emotional, and communication skills as well as coping skills. I specialize in couples and family therapy. I use attachment theory and a family systems lens to help you understand your communication and connection with your partner. I'm here to help your relationship thrive. I also offer trauma therapy ART
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in supporting, working, and investing in our community. I'm a lover of local art, makers, musicians, and foods. I'm a social justice activist and am actively working to make an anti-racist, anti-capitalist, and anti-ableist world. I believe in uplifting the queer, trans, and POC communities and making their voices heard. I believe in having a safe place for those who have been hurt by this society. I'm a listening ear for the neurodivergent and those who feel a little lost in this world. I'm a strong promoter of raising loved and happy kids. I do that by helping couples find happiness in each other and families finding ways to connect. I'm here to help individuals find themselves so they can do that inner work and find peace. I'm an abolitionist at my core and I believe the systems we have in place often do not serve us. Therapy in the past has been harmful and I do everything I can to challenge my biases and societies biases to get to the root cause of issues.
