I work primarily from an Existential/Humanistic perspective, focusing on how clients strive to live in line with their values, and how each person works toward living an authentic life. I encourage clients to build autonomy and growth through self-exploration and understanding of the unique perspectives they bring with them to therapy.
I work as a generalist, and have experience and knowledge base to work with clients of all backgrounds. In particular, I tend to specialize in work with adoptees, athletes, the LGBTQIA+ communities, and individuals with diagnoses related to anxiety, depression, substance misuse, anger concerns, and relationship/communication concerns. I also work with clients who have experienced religious trauma.
I also provide evidence-based therapy for anxiety disorders and depression, and have been trained to provide ERP Therapy for those with OCD.
Additionally, I provide psychodiagnostic assessments for concerns such as ADHD, ASD, mood disorders, and more.
