About My Clients
Do you feel stuck, or at an impasse in your current life? Perhaps a certain behavior, worry, or the use of a substance has become a larger piece of your life than you wanted. It could be that anxiety or depression have kept you from achieving what you want, or being who you want to be. Maybe you’ve had a change in your life that’s been difficult to handle. I work with adults, teens, and children with a variety of needs to provide a safe and encouraging space to learn and grow.
My Background and Approach
I work primarily from an Existential/Humanistic perspective, focusing on how clients strive to live in line with their values, and how each person works toward living an authentic life. I encourage clients to build autonomy and growth through self-exploration and understanding of the unique perspectives they bring with them to therapy. I work as a generalist, and have experience and knowledge base to work with clients of all backgrounds. In particular, I tend to specialize in work with adoptees, athletes, the LGBTQIA+ communities, and individuals with diagnoses related to anxiety, depression, substance misuse, anger concerns, and relationship/communication concerns. I also work with clients who have experienced religious trauma. I also provide evidence-based therapy for anxiety disorders and depression, and have been trained to provide ERP Therapy for those with OCD. Additionally, I provide psychodiagnostic assessments for concerns such as ADHD, ASD, mood disorders, and more.
