About My Clients
I offer support and compassionate accompaniment to individuals and couples sorting through the endless complexities of modern life, relationships, and grief/loss. I offer an empathetic, supportive, and most importantly authentic space for folks to explore themselves, their minds and hearts, and our shared, often confusing world. While I am personally and professionally interested in grief/death/loss and end-of-life concerns, my work is open to whoever might resonate with my offerings.
My Background and Approach
My work is built on the belief that authentic relationships are nourishing and help illuminate purpose in our lives. Further, my personal experiences in psychotherapy have taught me that an authentic, compassionate relationship with a therapist can be monumentally supportive and meaningful for folks across a wide variety of concerns and identities. I offer relational, trauma-informed, existential, compassionate psychotherapy. My approach is active, collaborative, and humorous/playful (when appropriate and comfortable!). My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am personally oriented toward collective liberation, recognizing the impact of capitalism on mental health, and non-carceral approaches to care. I'm also a certified grief counselor with experience working in LGBTQIA+ crisis services, crisis residential housing, and locked psychiatric facilities. Beyond that, I'm a human sorting it all out, just like you. While my clinical work often (but not exclusively) focuses on the some of the heavier parts of human existence (see below!), I love also comedy and general silliness. It’s a tough world out there and laughing can be kinda nice, ya know? I’m happy to answer any questions you may have about me or my work—just shoot me a message or email via the contact page.
