About My Clients
Do you feel like time is running out, or feel uneasy, stressed out, lonely, or lost? All of us worry, feel down, or get scared from time to time. Life can be difficult or confusing sometimes. When pain is an inevitable part of life, how can we notice our feelings without getting overwhelmed? I am here to listen with care and compassion, and to help you figure this out. I’ve successfully worked with young adults from a wide range of social identities experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma.
My Background and Approach
The cornerstone of my therapeutic style is based on unconditional positive regard. We all need care, support, and acceptance irrespective of our life’s journey. I am committed to being fully present with you, believing you, and supporting you as we navigate your challenges together. Finding yourself at a low point does not have to define your day-to-day experience. Together, we can explore strategies to manage painful situations and relationships. My goal is to cultivate a safe and supportive environment for you to be your most authentic self and craft the path that brings you fulfillment. I lean into a variety of therapeutic modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Relational, Humanistic, and Narrative therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that you are worthy of loving and being loved. The pain and trauma we have known in our life does not have to overshadow the joy that we can also experience. My early experiences of loss and suffering taught me to embrace life with all its joys and pains, and to appreciate the subtle nuances that shape our lived experiences. It’s not always easy, but when someone can accompany us, we find our innermost strength and clarity. That is what I commit to you; to believe in you, trust you, and listen to you. You are the expert of your life, and I am here to support you every step of the way.
