About My Clients
Our painful experiences can leave lasting scars that can profoundly impact our daily lives. We may feel trapped by fear, worry, and/or depression. We can also and feel doomed to repeat the same troubled relationships over and over. Even our physical health can be affected. But change is possible! Through the support of a nurturing, therapeutic relationship, I offer support and guidance on your journey of healing, allowing you to live your life more fully.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Master's degree in Counseling from Southwestern College in Santa Fe, NM, where I studied attachment and trauma. I also completed a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Individual and Family Studies from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. I have studied various methods of treatment including DBT, RO-DBT, CBT, Mindfulness, Humanistic and Somatic modalities, primarily Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. These modalities inform my therapeutic approach which is holistic and trauma-informed. My passion lies in helping my clients to discover their own awesome beauty, wisdom, and strength no matter who they are, and what they have experienced in their lives.
