I specialize in therapy for children (12+), adolescents (13-17) and young adults.
My Background and Approach
My practice is relational, person centered and holistic. I consider all aspects of your life, valuing all of your past experience that has made you the person you are today. My practice is focused on life transitions, self-compassion, relational dynamics, anxiety, depression, identity formation and school concerns (from elementary- college). I support individuals with healing, feeling more energize, and becoming aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan. Together, we will create a welcoming environment that allows you to share your needs and goals with me.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a licensed social worker in the state of Colorado. Throughout my career I have worked with individuals from birth-end of life. My vast experience has given me a holistic view of individuals and the systems that impact them as they move through the world. I have worked in the adoption, education (K-12 & higher education) and the medical field prior to finding my true calling as a therapist. I offer a vibrant personality and bring a hopeful lens to sessions. I received my bachelors degree in social work at Colorado State University. I received my masters degree in clinical social work with a focus on child, youth and families at the University of Washington Seattle.
