About My Clients
Existing as a queer person is hard. I get it! I specialize in somatic and relational therapy for queer and trans adults and parents who've been through hard things and feel disconnected, small, and exhausted. Maybe this resonates for you! You want to show up in life as your full, messy, and authentic self. You're done and you're ready for more. More connection with yourself. More liberation from old wounds. We are probably a good fit to work together if you long for a nurturing space where you can dig into themes of overwhelm, depression, relationship challenges, and anti-racism. My job will be to provide a space that is just for you - in which you feel seen and heard exactly as you are. We're probably a good fit to work together if you: -feel exhausted and ambivalent about your job, friendships, and overall daily life -struggle to make room to feel your emotions, without stuffing them down -feel tired of putting other’s needs first -want someone to be with you and witness you as you explore these things -long to re-connect with your body and mind on a deeper level -desire a space that’s just for you, in which your needs are put first -are ready to feel seen and heard Together, let's get you from feeling stuck and lonely to feeling cared for, grounded, and fulfilled. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I identify as a white, queer, fat, upper-middle class, able-bodied, cisgender woman of Jewish and European heritage. My pronouns are she/her/hers. I participate in ongoing learning regarding issues related to privilege, white supremacy, and oppression. While I don’t believe that therapy can ever be a space free from the impacts of oppression, I seek frequent consultation regarding how these themes impact my work with a diverse network of supervisors, colleagues, and my own therapist.
