About My Clients
I'm here to help teen girls with anxiety, self-esteem, life changes, and perfectionism. As a teen, you’re overwhelmed and feel lost. You’re scared of making the wrong choice and you second-guess yourself constantly. You work hard at school but when you get the A, it still feels like you’re failing or like you should have done something differently. You feel awkward around other people and you wish you felt as confident and comfortable as everyone else.
My Approach to Helping
While I offer a safe space for teens to express themselves and process their experiences, it’s important that we just don’t talk. I want to help your teen develop new skills that will help them in their daily life so that the same problems don’t keep repeating themselves. I utilize a holistic approach and incorporate mindfulness techniques, assertive communication skills, and exercises and activities to explore your teen's personal strengths and build self-esteem into the work I do. I want to give your teen the tools they need to live a happier, more fulfilling life.
My Values as a Therapist
I believe that everyone deserves a space where they can be seen and heard without fear of judgment. By offering that, I have witnessed my teenage clients become more confident in who they are, more socially engaged, and less concerned with making mistakes through fully participating in therapy with me. I am truly privileged to be a therapist and help my clients navigate difficult times in their lives. Change doesn't happen overnight and I will meet your teen where they are at. We'll go at their own pace and in time, they will develop the skills they need to have the kind of future that they want.
