You feel deeply misunderstood and no amount of “talking it through” seems to get you past this conflict in your relationship. Using a holistic and trauma-informed approach, I help relationships build coping skills, reflective listening, and learn how to replace blame and criticism with a new focus on positive intent. Working together in therapy, my clients find they are able to resolve conflicts before they turn into arguments; and improve their sense of trust, connection, and intimacy.
Overwhelm from being pulled in too many different directions, visualizations of awful things passing through your mind, or ending up sweating and nauseous over a basic social interaction, anxiety can take many forms. I utilize a mindfulness-based and trauma-informed approach to helping clients with their anxiety. Working together, I will help you build new skills of self-soothing, non-judgmental awareness, and self-compassion, so that you can end therapy with a sense of confidence and balance.
