I hold a Bachelor's Degree, double majoring in Psychology and Spanish from the University of California, Riverside in 2011 and a Masters degree in Social Welfare, with a concentration in Mental Health from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Since 2011, I have provided mental health services in various environments, such as mental health clinics, hospitals, home visits, correctional facilities, intimate partner violence shelters, shelters for the unhoused, and substance recovery treatment centers throughout Southern California.
My career has presented me with the opportunities to work with individuals coping with anxiety, depression life transitions, relationship issues, intergenerational trauma, grief, imposter syndrome, and balancing conflicting values and priorities.
I create and hold a safe therapeutic space while practicing through cultural/gender affirming, trauma informed lenses. My therapeutic style is rooted in behavioral, family systems, and mindfulness theories.
