About My Clients
I provide a space where young adults and women—particularly Black and BIPOC women—can show up and feel supported. Racism, discrimination, and microaggressions can cause you to question your self worth and contribute to feelings of anxiety, depression, or grief and loss. By creating a safe, nonjudgmental space, I’ll partner with you to develop a spiritual connection, unpack the emotions you’re carrying, and move forward in life.
My Background and Approach
In a world where you’re taught to shrink back, therapy awakens your authentic giant. Together, we’ll create a space to facilitate healing, strengthen your intuition, and grow spiritually. As a psychotherapist, I’m committed to the wellbeing of people from diverse backgrounds and have developed a mindfulness based, trauma informed, and anti-oppressive practice that empowers you to achieve liberation. We’ll work together to dream, discover your passions, remove blocks, and create fulfillment. Every moment is an opportunity to grow. One of my mottos is something my grandfather taught me: “You’re going to get the lesson until you get the lesson.” That means that sometimes, the same lesson presents itself over and over until it’s fully integrated. You aren’t reading this by chance, so trust your gut. If you’re looking to create a better life for yourself, finding a therapist is the first step.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing is possible for everyone, and that every human being on the planet deserves decency and respect. I’m passionate about racial justice and amplifying the voices of those who have been silenced and oppressed. I feel called to contribute to change and acceptance for Black people, as well as anyone who doesn’t meet the typical standards set in American culture.
