About My Clients
We are on this journey of your healing together and my style is collaborative and warm. Together, we can work on letting go of past traumas or anything else that's been hurtful to you and your relationship. Therapy can be brief or long-term. You deserve to live a happy, balanced, and fulfilling life. Call me so we can discuss your needs further.
My Background and Approach
I have worked in private practice, community mental health, and school settings, providing individual, family, couples, and group therapy to a wide range of clients. I'm experienced in the treatment of trauma-related issues, substance abuse, co-dependency, self-esteem issues, depression & anxiety management, relationship issues, and parenting needs. My approach to therapy is eclectic. Therapy is tailored collaboratively with you based on your needs. I have been trained in a variety of modules, including Trauma Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Seeking Safety, the Havening Techniques, and mindfulness. I am here to give you hope that no matter the past, your future can be peaceful and happy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Hello, my name is Lisa, and I am a cis white female. My pronouns are she/her/hers. Psychotherapy and social work is my second career, and I chose social work for its strong emphasis on social justice and mental health progression. I work primarily with individuals struggling with anxiety, big and small traumas, addiction, relationship problems, attachment wounds, etc. and couples who want to improve their relationship. We are on this journey of your healing together and my style is collaborative and warm. I am particularly tuned into the unique issues, strengths, and gifts of our diverse community including our populations with disabilities and neurodiversity. I continue to make my services available by exploring the needs of this population. I offer sliding scale, out of network coverage, and virtual counseling to make therapy and our work together accessible.
