About My Clients
Life can throw us a lot of curveballs! Even happy things like relationships, pregnancies, babies, new jobs, new moves, and new places can disrupt our mental health and leave us feeling anxious or depressed. If you’re feeling less like yourself, with anxious thoughts, trouble sleeping, trouble making decisions, difficulty motivating or just feeling like your new life wasn’t what you expected, a therapist can help get you on a new path towards healing and connection. I am happy to help you!
My Background and Approach
I help people learn new ways to manage feelings of stress and worry and walk with you while you work. I help those like you struggling with your new world and help you look forward to the future again. I am also trained to work with kids, teens and adults manage Tourette’s and tic disorders with CBIT. Pregnancy, infertility, and postpartum stress can leave you feeling alone and ashamed. Changes often bring up old wounds and feelings. I can help you through this transition time. I specialize in working with women who are struggling, you are not alone. I use a warm and understanding approach and help find ways to help you improve your mood, boundaries, and speak for your own wants and needs. I’m honest and straightforward but will never judge. Many who meet with me have spent so long caring for others that looking inward feels strange! Let me help you on this path toward healing today. I’m easy to talk to so contact me today!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a passionate advocate for mothers, those trying to conceive and parents. I know this time of life is not a time of pure joy for many, and we can work through your experiences without shame or judgement. I love working with high achieving professionals who find home life more of a challenge. I can help you better define your wants, needs and what you envision for your future. If you are unhappy, let's talk through ways you can move towards more meaning and joy in your life. I'm excited to work with diverse clientele. I have a special interest in bringing awareness of CBIT to the community and educate the availability of non medication treatment for Tics.
