About My Clients
Communication got you stressed in your relationship? Feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, isolated, like you need some space or closer intimacy with your partner or family but aren’t sure how to get there together? Life and relationships can get messy, especially right now, and we might feel stuck or unable to move through the issues we’re experiencing with the important people in our lives. I believe you are capable of reaching your goals, it just may help to have an outside perspective and ally.
My Background and Approach
Building our relationship so you feel safe to explore your thoughts and feelings is the foundation for my approach to therapy, and I integrate humor with gentle guidance and tips into our sessions. Ease pain, learn to cope, feel empowered and more connected to yourself and to each other, while learning to communicate and express yourselves more effectively. I have worked with adults grieving the death of a parent at Our House Grief Support Center, formerly homeless residents at the Downtown Women’s Center on Skid Row, and with adults in recovery at a residential treatment center and intensive outpatient program in Malibu. In addition to my work in private practice under the supervision of grief specialist, Debi Frankle, I currently work with adults and families at Ellenhorn, a renowned intensive psychiatric recovery program with a multidisciplinary approach that emphasizes community reintegration and healing psychosocial trauma.
