About My Clients

My clients represent diversity that is multifaceted (e.g. age, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability status, race, nationality, culture of origin, spiritual beliefs, etc). I moved to Texas from the northeastern U.S. where it is truly a melting pot of cultures and identities. I am honored that my clients place their trust in me to assist them in their journey to healing.

My Background and Approach

I received my clinical psychology doctoral degree (Psy.D.) from Rutgers Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology. There I was trained in health psychology, culturally sensitive CBT, DBT for adolescents, and family systems therapy. My approach helps clients to learn skills to improve their own lives. I offer a warm and welcoming environment and bring my authentic self into the therapeutic relationship. I love to find the humor in this life and often enjoy laughing with clients.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I prioritize social justice and believe in human rights for all people. I am a queer and trans ally. I am a member of the Black community and believe that BLM. I am an animal lover and spend a lot of my free time with animals (goats, chickens, cats, dogs, other birds).
