About My Clients
I adore working with children, teens, and those who care for them. I work often with LGBTQ folks and foster/adoption communities, as well as those experiencing family discord, anxiety, depression, and acute/complex trauma. I have expertise in supporting parents and caregivers to cultivate healthy and positive relationships with their teens.
My Background and Approach
I believe our pain, dreams and passions deserve to be heard. Creating safety, honoring autonomy, and offering genuine compassion are tenets that guide my therapeutic work. I strive to be authentic and human. I received my Masters in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin. Over the years, I have worked in community based mental health, providing individual, couple, and family services, and crisis-based work at Psychiatric Emergency Services and the National Domestic Violence Hotline. This world can be hard. From my own lived experience, I know how supportive and attuned relationships can help us heal and reconnect to ourselves. I hold space to explore all emotions and will meet you where you are at. I unwaveringly accept and celebrate all parts of you.
