My Background and Approach
Through a collaborative approach and evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solutions-Focused, Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), I help clients come up with tools to help them navigate difficult moments and adjust to their new life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we are all doing the best we can with the resources that we have and when given the chance and opportunity to make changes, we can go from surviving to thriving in our lives. I strive to create a safe and supportive space for clients to address concerns, and express feelings and thoughts about their lived experiences that might feel scary or otherwise ashamed to talk about.
