About My Clients

I can help you celebrate your unique experience and explore how you have navigated your life journey of multiculturalism, Queer identity, race based stress, micro aggressions, or other matters that affect your mental wellness. My expertise includes addressing anxiety, depression, school/workplace burnout & perfectionism. My client base includes working with LGBTQQIA+, non- binary communities, bi-cultural identities, tech community, first and second generation immigrants, and survivors of abuse.

My Background and Approach

As a Queer, Black, cisgendered woman and daughter of immigrant parents, I understand the challenges faced when navigating oppressive systems. Your journey in therapy would allow you to have a place to explore the ways in which you are working through your own challenges. Along the way, you will obtain guidance toward living your life wholeheartedly by truly accepting all the intersections of your identity.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Making the decision to begin therapy is an important process toward self care and compassion. I can help you in your journey toward personal growth and healing. I create a warm, respectful and safe environment that gently encourages you to speak about issues that you want to focus on. In therapy we will explore some family of origin issues and gain insight into patterns, thoughts or behaviors that have been getting in the way. We will delve from a place of shame into a place of self acceptance. We will move from a lens of curiosity, unpack areas of conflict and increase your self awareness. We will identify what your core values are and reflect how you can live a more authentic life. I can help you celebrate your unique experience and explore how you have navigated your life journey of multiculturalism, Queer identity, race based stress, micro aggressions, or other matters that affect your mental wellness.
