About My Clients
I am passionate about working with LGBTQ+ & ethically non-monogamous people, as well as clients struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, loss, and harm reduction. I am also committed to acknowledging how systems of oppression shape us and the perspectives we bring to therapeutic practice.
My Background and Approach
Prior to grad school, I worked and volunteered in community-based programs that emphasized liberation while resisting capitalism, colonialism, and white supremacy. These experiences helped me solidify my values and hone my analysis of systemic injustice and oppression. Along the way, I also identified my natural strengths as a compassionate listener who could serve well as a professional therapist. In May 2023, I received my Master's in Social Work degree. If you choose to work with me, I will bring a warm and empathetic therapeutic style to our time together, prioritizing connection and insight to facilitate growth, healing, and resilience. My primary focus will be supporting you to reduce suffering, develop effective skills and resources, and flexibly adapt to whatever life may throw your way. Most importantly, I hope to support you in carving out time and space to prioritize you, as well as your values, integrity, and wellness.
