**Accepting New Clients for daytime weekday appts ** We all experience challenges, stresses and obstacles in life that leave us feeling stuck, confused or lost. Your mental health is important. How you experience your world and cope with your feelings, influences every part of you. Lately, you’ve noticed it’s difficult to concentrate or struggle to find the energy to begin tasks. It feels like you put on a mask everyday and it’s exhausting. I see you, I hear you, you don’t have to do it alone.
My Background and Approach
*All services are provided through Telehealth and can provide services to clients anywhere in Texas* I founded Healing Spaces Therapy to provide you the space and tools to improve your mental health and to provide services that are culturally responsive & evidence-based. My goal is to support you in your journey to self-discovery and empowerment. As your therapist, I can help you heal from painful experiences so you can move forward. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to helping clients reach their goals. My role is to provide a safe space where you feel heard, seen and supported. I specialize in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions and self-esteem. For the last 14 years I have provided mental health services in a non-profit community mental health agency, public school counseling, law enforcement and government agencies.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I provide a safe non-judgemental space for all people and backgrounds including but not limited to minorities, Latinx and LGBTQIA+ populations. I am passionate about social justice and advocating for rights of underserved populations.
