About My Clients

My experience as a Resident Marriage and Family Therapist has taught me that people are incredibly resilient and have the power to change and heal despite adversity. If you are struggling with anxiety or depression, are unhappy in your relationship, or are struggling with family conflict I can help. I also have extended experience working with clients with ADHD both individually and as part of a couple or family.

My Background and Approach

I collaborate with my clients, integrating evidence-based therapies as best suits their needs. My work is most inspired by the fields of family systems and interpersonal neurobiology, meaning that I utilize a systemic lens that considers my client's therapeutic goals within the context of their mind, body, and the people and things they exist in relation to. I am a trauma-informed therapist and consider this an integral part of my work. A good therapeutic relationship is integral to success in therapy. My hope is that my clients find therapy to be safe, collaborative, and purposeful. Please reach out to me for a free phone consultation to assess our fit and talk about scheduling that first appointment.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that recognizing and owning my privilege is an important part of dismantling systemic injustice. I am White, cis-gendered, and currently-able bodied. I also hold academic and socio-economic privilege. I work hard to know and understand the privilege I hold so that I can in turn be more accountable to communities that suffer from injustice. I have seen that many of the struggles people are facing when they seek therapy are tied to unhealed traumas, both big and small. The burden of systemic injustice often results in trauma. My approach to therapy takes this into account and holds space for the variety of identities and experiences my clients may have.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
