About My Clients
You’re a 20s-30s-something and the ways you used to cope are no longer serving you. Maybe you’ve found success professionally, but struggle relationally. You may be searching for stability but feel stuck or anxious after going through a break up, a move, or a life transition. You're a couple desiring stronger connection, better communication, and more depth in your relationship. You're noticing that past experiences and old patterns keep your relationship from thriving.
My Background and Approach
My training is through a systemic perspective, which means that I consider the whole of who you are. I value getting to know you and the systems that you are, or have been a part of. It is important to identify these factors as we look at your life story to find depth in understanding how you approach your life/the world/relationships. From there we look at what messages have been helpful, and which ones you'd like to learn to let go. I pull from a variety of models to tailor our sessions to your specific needs/goals including: IFS, EFT, CBT, and Experiential therapy. We'll use creativity, and I promise we'll laugh too because there's a place for joy while you heal. I am also trained in a therapy called Lifespan Integration. This a mind-body based therapy that gently and deeply heals trauma without re-traumatizing. If you're an individual we can talk about using this!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that change is possible for each and every one of us when we are in relationship with others who can support us on our journey. While a lot of brokenness happens through relationships, I believe that healing also happens in and through relationships- and that is what I hope the therapy space can be for you as I witness your story. I hope when you are given a space to simply be, to say the hard things, and to explore your beliefs/experiences, that you find permission to be your true authentic self. I welcome clients of all races, ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, religions, genders, and sexual orientations. We all have a story to tell, and we all have a story that matters.
