Hey, I'm Meg. I'm a polyamory therapist, therapist for therapists, and EMDR practitioner. I see and deeply understand the day-to-day struggle, and have made it my professional commitment to support others—and out of—work-induced burnout, poly relationship struggles, and the effects of trauma and stressful life situations. I know finding a therapist can be a source of anxiety itself, so when you're ready to take the first step, give me a call or send me an email, and we'll figure out if I'm the right therapist for you. I can't wait to hear from you.
I think therapy gives us a really unique opportunity to simultaneously experience genuine acceptance from another human being while allowing ourselves to *really see* see ourselves through a set of fresh eyes—someone else's eyes.
My approach to therapy is to offer a compassionate yet honest reflection of what I see in you—both your struggles and your strengths, your fears and your dreams. A fan of compassionate and clear communication, I don't like to mince words—and while I value kindness in all things, I also place a lot of value on the investment you're making in yourself by working with me. To that end, I will provide a gentle push every now and then to move beyond the spaces, places, thoughts, and beliefs that leave you feeling trapped and helpless, toward a new version of yourself that is calm, connected, clear-minded, and consistent.
I can't say therapy is always easy—but I can say that it is well worth it, and that I'm here to help you make the most of your time.
