About My Clients
I support adults and young adults on their journey to whole-being wellness. I use a trauma-informed and sensory systems approach to help you create supportive daily routines that include self-care activities, as well as give you the tools to regulate your nervous system. This is holistic therapy designed for you, where each session is focused on your needs and wellness goals with a special focus on those who are neurodivergent, are anxious or depressed, or going through a big life transition.
My Background and Approach
I use research-based techniques such as meditation, yoga-based movement, breathwork and more with an intentional sensory lens. This means that each session is designed around you, your needs, and your sensitivities. My practice focuses on calming and regulating your nervous system, which is the foundation for all healing. I received my Bachelors in Exercise Science from the University of Dayton in 2015. I then earned my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy through the University of Indianapolis and completed National Board Certification in 2018. I received my Certificate as a Holistic OT in 2021 after 60+ hours of training and extensive practice on guiding various types of meditation and energy healing. I offer a variety of occupational therapy services that are focused on supporting whole-being wellness based on individual healing goals. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My passion in life is making others feel good, loved, and connected. I do this through the use of evidence-based healing practices and a deep love and respect for each of us on this journey. My specialty is in understanding the complexity and uniqueness of us humans. I have a deep understanding of the importance of our occupations, the roles we play, life experiences, personal goals, and sensory differences. I believe to heal one part of ourselves, we need to look at and honor all the parts of ourselves. Each session with me offers an opportunity for nervous system regulation through meditation, mindfulness, and yoga-based movement. I also offer my expertise to help you create and enjoy your daily routines, including all the mundane life things like cleaning the dishes, completing your work, doing the laundry, and most importantly, caring for yourself. I believe that healing begins when we start to care for and connect with ourselves.
