As your counselor, I'm deeply passionate about healing relationships in order to heal individuals and vice versa.

Growing up with five sisters, women's issues have always been near and dear to me. Personal background aside, I approach the entirety of my therapeutic practice from a feminist lens due to my training as well as my sociopolitical beliefs.
My special training as a Marriage and Family Therapist includes hours of experience working with couples and families. I strongly believe that much of individual healing lies in relational healing and that as we improve relationships, individuals also benefit. Ourselves and our systems are truly interconnected and a marriage and family therapist uniquely offers this approach.
Having lived much of my life in a high-demand religion, I am equipped to assist clients as they navigate faith transitions, faith crises, and religious abuse and trauma.
Narrative therapy posits that you are the author of your life! My narrative approach to therapy positions you as the meaning-maker of your experience. Together we will deconstruct unhelpful stories you may have been told about yourself and create preferred stories by handing you back the authorship of your own life.
Experience impacts change. By working with me, ready yourselves to deeply connect with your experience through emotional exploration, art therapy, play therapy, and drama therapy interventions. I believe that the creative world acts as a conduit to our experience which is something I readily integrate into my therapeutic practice.
I believe that the best approach is the approach that bests suits the client, which is why I will always be an integrative therapist. I am willing to work with clients to determine their preferred treatment modalities rather than rigidly adhering to one therapeutic perspective regardless of client need.
