About My Clients
We have all been the person that would rather wander in aimless circles than reach out for guidance or help. Today, I want to help you be the person that reaches out, looks up, and tries a new way of wandering. I want to be the person that enables you to choose your preferred path, walks alongside you in self-discovery, and helps you navigate the relationships of life that make the road worth traveling.
My Background and Approach
I have experience helping individuals, families, and couples navigate obstacles in their lives and in their relationships. I am passionate about helping people uncover the solutions to their problems through increased flexibility, insight, and hope. Making the first step down a new road can be daunting, but even the smallest step forward is change nonetheless. Take the first step today. Reach out to me via a phone call or message. I happily await our adventuring.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
First and foremost, I approach therapy through a systemic lens: I believe that our history, culture, community, and relationships are integral parts of understanding current experience. In broadening the scope to view these systems we also deepen our understanding of the self. I also believe strongly in a client-centered approach that honors client agency in choosing therapeutic goals and outcomes. As a therapist, I walk the road of healing with clients, giving them the tools and confidence to choose their preferred paths. I have worked professionally with children and adolescents over the last four years in various coaching, teaching, and therapeutic capacities. My undergraduate degree was in the humanities and my love of art, literature, and history informs my clinical as well as personal life. In my free time my spouse and I love to dabble in any and all of the wonderful outdoor offerings Colorado hosts from skiing and mountain biking to roller skating at the local skate parks.
