About My Clients
I find it a joy and a privilege to help you face difficult life challenges and improve the quality of your relationships. I believe the client-therapist relationship is a critical component of the therapeutic process. It is my priority to offer a warm and welcoming space for you to feel validated and empowered. Together, we will identify personal strengths, increase self-worth, explore family behavioral patterns and barriers to healthy relationships.

I utilize an integrative approach to therapy, pulling from theories including: -Emotionally Focused Therapy ("EFT") -Family Systems Theory -Client/Person-Centered Therapy -Attachment-based Therapy -Dialectical Behavioral Therapy ("DBT") -Gottman's Theory of Couples Therapy -Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing ("EMDR")
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe empathy can have remarkable healing powers. When we feel another person willingly connect with the part of themselves that knows the feeling we are experiencing, we believe that we matter and are valued. Then we begin to feel more ready to take steps towards self-reflection and change. Sharing the most painful parts of ourselves with another person can leave us feeling vulnerable and open to wounding. What I've learned through life is that to truly live our best lives, we need to be who we really are, faults and all. We need to be open and honest, and we need a place where this is not just tolerated, but welcomed and accepted. During each session, I try to provide a sense of safety and trust by being supportive, curious, and non-judgmental. Whether you have suffered a recent loss or trauma, are suffering with painful emotions, or having trouble coping with a life transition, therapy is a place to be heard and supported as it helps you navigate the path towards healing.
