About My Clients
I'm so glad that you've decided to start your journey to understanding yourself, improving your relationships, and living the life you want to lead! I form genuine relationships with my clients and provide a safe, open, non-judgmental space for you to take risks and explore challenges, unresolved guilt and shame, and patterns of behavior you'd like to change.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in ADHD (particularly in women or when the presentation is different from stereotypical ADHD) and offer psychological testing services via telehealth. In addition to adult ADHD, I provide evaluations for anxiety, depression/mood disorders, and PTSD/trauma, to name a few. I also provide therapy specializing in relationship issues (working either as a couple or individually). Other interests include trauma, women's issues, self-acceptance, and living an authentic life. My therapeutic style is warm, compassionate, genuine, and empowering. I'm a real person and I want you to be able to be yourself too! There's no judgment here. Figuring out what you're struggling with, either through testing or therapy, can be life-changing in the best possible way. We will build on your strengths while working on the issues you'd like to address. I can help you navigate life transitions, learn to trust your ability to make decisions, and develop personalized coping skills that work for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a neurodivergent therapist specializing in helping clients understand and embrace their neurodivergence. -I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult and was perplexed as to how I didn't see this in myself while diagnosing others. This led me down a path of learning about ADHD in women, which changed my life and understanding of myself in the best possible way. I am passionate about educating clients and other providers about neurodivergence and debunking myths about what ADHD is, what it looks like in adults, and how to work with your brain instead of against it. I specialize in relationships because I believe they can help heal us, which is why I practice from an interpersonal perspective and value the therapeutic relationship. -Relationships are hard, even with communication and problem resolution skills. While relationships can heal, they can also be the source of dysfunction as we struggle with intimacy, vulnerability & allowing ourselves to be truly known by another person.
