Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in Encinitas, CA

About My Clients

I provide individual therapy and counseling for founders and entrepreneurs, professional women navigating life transitions and for new moms and moms-to-be. I help people who seek a successful and fulfilled life but feel buried under stress, anxiety, imposter syndrome, perfectionism, self-doubt and feelings of overwhelm.

My Background and Approach

My approach is warm, collaborative and non-judgmental empowering people to meet their goals and find greater meaning and connection in their lives, relationships and career. In 2017 I completed The Daring Way certification with Brené Brown's work and enjoy incorporating her work and research on courage, vulnerability, shame and belonging into my work as therapist.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Valuing and seeking to understand diversity and someone's unique experience is an important part of my practice. As a therapist of color I enjoy supporting other people of color. I work with members of the LGBT community and believe it's important to create a safe, affirming and non-judgmental space for my clients. I appreciate the complexities that can come up with holding multiple aspects of your identity and look to incorporate or acknowledge this in our work together as it feels important and relevant.
