Maybe you're drinking a little more than you would like. Drinking can temporally take away our worries or stress, as well as providing comfort and confidence. However, drinking can also numb our feelings and affect relationships, our sleep, cognition, and our health. Together we can explore what you're drinking is providing you, while looking at a moderation management program or becoming sober.
Anxiety can be like having an all-consuming, constant feeling of worry. I have worked with anxiety and understand the thought of ‘if I prepare for absolutely every possible outcome, I will be okay’. Anxiety can be like an alarm bell within us. For some, it is constant, for others it can happen at the very worst moment. Together we will learn how to calm these thoughts and feelings within your body and mind.
Some relationships have experienced difficulties through the pandemic. You may have drifted apart over the last few years and are struggling to re-connect. You could be wondering if you should stay together or separate. During our time together, we will discover what each of you want, and how to communicate this to one another in a loving and safe space. We will explore how your attachment styles may be showing up and affecting your relationship, while finding solutions.
Things maybe difficult at home or school. You may feel feel frustrated or agitated and not know why. You maybe struggling with anxiety and self esteem. Wondering what others think of you. Maybe you're not quite sure what you want to do when you leave school however feel so much pressure to get it right. I know counseling maybe scary or you may not feel like it will help.
