I wasn't always a therapist - I have worked in the Fortune 500 and have also owned my own small business. In fact, I have nearly three decades of practical experience and hard-earned insights that I bring to every conversation. The challenges my clients face are varied: Some are in a funk that can’t shake off, or feel trapped in a feedback loop of anxiety. Still others feel stressed out, emotionally stretched too thin, or are quietly wishing to leave a corporate career and to try something new. Are you exhausted from a difficult relationship or managing your mood? Or perhaps you’re unsure of how to manage a hard life transition? My job is to help you move forward and to explore the feelings, memories, patterns of behavior, and even blind spots that may be holding your back. You’ll experience a fresh perspective through calming conversation, appropriate challenging, and gentle humor.
Our first session is a chance for you to talk about what you’re struggling with and what you hope to achieve in counseling. From there, we'll work together to build a course of therapy that helps you to move past internal barriers. We'll work to help you understand the past, leave emotional pain behind, and make tangible movement toward goals that lead to a better life.
