I will help you navigate through the grief and loss process, by offering tools to help you address your emotional needs while helping you have the presence of mind to stay focused in order to address the practical aspects of a break-up or a divorce.
I work with people who have experienced complex trauma by teaching them skills to calm and balance their emotions so they can develop more self-compassion and loving self-care through different strategies such as breathing, relaxation, meditation, movement and so on. Mindfulness strategies help people bring their attention to the present moment with less judgement allowing them to see situations more objectively offering them the choice to let go of what no longer serves them.
Whether it’s binge eating, overeating, over-exercising, orthorexia, bulimia, anorexia, or a combination of them, all behaviors are part of a spectrum of using eating to deal with life's challenges. We address body-image, self-esteem and self-regard and how our social standards surrounding beauty and health are impacting your behaviors and belief systems and, in turn, develop a new way of thinking and acting that will support a long-term fulfilling recovery.
