About My Clients
I am very passionate about working with girls and women with imposter syndrome, perfectionism, performance anxiety, paralysis, fear of failure, stress and burnout. The individuals I support, struggle with navigating their academic and professional spaces because of internal and external pressures rooted in sociocultural issues. Many individuals encounter these issues and work through them with support. Together, we can help you or your child become more confident, brave, focused and empowered.
My Background and Approach
I have many years of experience providing short- and long-term evidence based treatment for ADHD, anxiety and depression. My passion is to help individuals to feel more at ease, happier, confident, focused, and productive. I provide a counseling approach grounded in cultural sensitivity, collaboration, warmth, encouragement, empathy and authenticity.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Personal Background: As an Asian American woman, a child of refugees, and a first generation college and graduate student, I draw from these rich experiences to deepen my empathy and connection to my clients’ pain points. Hobbies: When I'm not practicing psychotherapy, I enjoy going on hikes and long runs; I love being outdoors, cooking, spending time with friends and family, having homemade green smoothies packed with antioxidants, listening to audiobooks and podcasts, and finding ways to live a more balanced, productive, and meaningful life.
