About My Clients
I specialize in working with individuals (including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+) who are coping with depression, anxiety, burnout, trauma, grief, relationship struggles, life transitions, and perinatal mental health. Many of my clients find it challenging to stop people-pleasing, set healthy boundaries, and express their needs effectively. They often feel stuck in unhelpful patterns and find it hard to break free from behaviors that no longer serve them.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Masters of Science in Social Work from Columbia University's School of Social Work, and since then, I have been committed to providing compassionate and effective therapeutic support. My approach is warm, thoughtful, relational, evidence-based, and solutions-focused. I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs and goals of my clients. I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your concerns, gain insight, and develop practical strategies for positive change. Whether you're navigating a specific issue or seeking to enhance your overall well-being, I am here to help you on your journey to emotional health and fulfillment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My clinical approach is centered in a keen understanding of intersectionality, and the need for marginalized communities to experience social justice and culturally informed healing methods.
