I have a BS from UC Berkeley and a Masters from Lewis and Clark College and am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. My work is informed by my education and training in somatic therapy, mindfulness, attachment theory, Polyvagal therapy, AEDP, Integration therapy, Motivational Interviewing, feminist theory, and the couples work of Esther Perel and Terry Real (RLT).
I work with trauma and the ways people respond to and cope with its effects (anxiety, depression, relational challenges, difficulty trusting/connecting, substance use). I affirm all gender identities and sexual orientations and support non-traditional relationship configurations. I bring to my work a long-standing meditation and yoga practice and a belief that we all have an organic wisdom and an intrinsic capacity to move towards wholeness.
