About My Clients

Using holistic approaches to help clients connect to their inner wisdom, my aim is to collaboratively support clients in creating more connection, joy, and aliveness in their lives. My my clients are often highly sensitive, and come to therapy with anxiety, maladaptive coping mechanisms, and difficulties connecting with their own bodies. My clients come from all walks of life, and often are desiring to work through grief, complex trauma, childhood trauma, and attachment wounding.

My Background and Approach

Using holistic approaches to help clients connect to their inner wisdom, my aim is to collaboratively support clients in creating more connection, joy, and aliveness in their lives. My hope is that we can work together to help you find empowerment and alignment. My holistic, trauma-informed approach means I consider your mind, body, & spirit in the healing process, and cater therapy to each individual's needs. Difficult experiences can leave you feeling disembodied, depressed, anxious, or frozen. My desire is to help you find a to get "unfrozen" and "unstuck," and support you in finding a regenerative pathway to healing. I am trained in Somatic and Attachment Focused Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (S.A.F.E. EMDR), an evidence-based trauma-healing modality that has shown evidence to alleviate symptoms of chronic, complex, and acute trauma. In addition, I incorporate spiritual, artistic, and somatic-centered practices into my therapeutic work.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I became a therapist, because I believe in the power of sitting in front of a compassionate witness and speaking your truth. I believe a safe, affirming therapeutic space can allow one to expand and grow. Early in my personal journey, I used to believed that I must “heal to a certain point” — as time has went on, I realized healing is not getting rid of parts of you that you do not find palatable or satisfying. It’s allowing those parts to be there and allowing yourself to grow past the margins of your trauma and the confinements of the self-talk that you were conditioned to believe. It is my deep desire to not only help clients identify self-defeating narratives and alleviate distress, but to reclaim their joy, passion, connection, and inherent worthiness. My aim as a psychotherapist is to help people develop healthy relationships with themselves, others, and their environments, in order to heal both personally and collectively.
