About My Clients
Do you have negative self-talk? Is your functional anxiety starting to spiral out of control? Experiencing communication errors in your relationships? You are not alone. These issues and more can disrupt your daily routine, strain relationships, and fuel conflict if allowed to go unmanaged. Development/strengthening your communication skills when speaking to yourself and others is one of many practices to assist in minimizing your undesired experiences.
My Background and Approach
I have a Bachelor of Science in Human Services, a Master of Science in Marriage Family, Child Therapy, and a Level Two Anger Management certification through Century Anger Management. I have traveled with youth and adults of all ages, providing support with substance misuse, dual-diagnosis, peer and family relationship concerns, and more! I enjoy facilitating individual and group sessions. My treatment modality is based on CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and Person-Centered Therapy. I am empathetic and believe I have the ability to share in the footsteps of those I walk with. Seaside Life Services started as a dream which umbrellas multiple services to assist in meeting the needs of those in our community and beyond. Seaside Life Services offers support services for psychotherapy, anger management, life skills, outdoor/walk-talk psychotherapy (pending weather) and more!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My motto is ~ "It's not what happens, it's how you handle it that makes the difference." I feel the events in our lives shape us; however, they should not define who or what we become. We all have our lived experience and no two are alike. Regardless of our individual journey, I feel we should all strive to learn from each other, respect, and honor our differences, while taking ownership for our personal roles in a kind and loving way. I believe we all have the capacity to learn healthier ways of living while supporting our fellow person. Seaside Life Services embraces personal development and self-determination. Throughout our lives, we come to points when emotions and thoughts become challenging and overwhelming. Additional support is needed to make sense and find peace in what we are experiencing. Seaside Life Services supports, respects, and welcomes all genders, races, countries of origin, sexual orientations, bodies, religions, and abilities.
