About My Clients
I specialize in working with people who are struggling with any form of anxiety or depression, having trouble adjusting to big life changes, experiencing relationship conflicts or communication issues, and/or hoping to improve their self-esteem or sense of purpose. I work with individuals (preteens, teens, and adults) and with couples.
My Background and Approach
My goal is to create a partnership in which we can collaboratively identify and work towards your goals. I have flexibility in my approach, which means I may weave together several evidence-based approaches that seem to fit your needs the best. Together we will work to break unhelpful cycles, build on your strengths, and move towards the life you want and deserve. We may address underlying beliefs and fears that get in your way, and we'll explore new ways of handling difficult situations. With couples, I use an Emotionally Focused Therapy approach, which helps to uncover and verbalize the deeper thoughts and emotions at the heart of the problem and break out of the unhelpful cycles that leave you feeling alone and frustrated.
