About My Clients
My clients are adults facing persistent stress and anxiety in work and relationships. They are ready to break free from patterns of tension and disconnection. They seek more than just to tolerate life; they desire deep, lasting change. They are individuals who value a holistic approach that integrates body, mind, and spirit. Together, we work towards reclaiming their inner peace, resilience, and overall well-being.
My Background and Approach
I've been working professionally with clients since 2010. I I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Arizona State University, where I graduated with highest honors. My dedication to my client's healing earned me the Partner in Excellence Award while working as a therapist in community mental health. I am a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and have advanced training in Touch Skills with Kathy Kain, the Neuro-Affective Relational Model (NARM), and EMDR, with a specialization in dissociation. My approach integrates these modalities to offer a holistic, body-centered path to healing. I believe in addressing the root of distress by working with the nervous system, facilitating deep, lasting change. My approach is holistic, collaborative, and positive with a focus on strengths and resources. I guide my clients toward resilience, balance, and a renewed sense of peace. My practice is dedicated to creating a safe, compassionate space where true healing can unfold.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone holds the power to heal. I see everyday how the body is an ocean of transformative intelligence. Therapy as a living, dynamic process that flows and evolves moment-to-moment, making healing an ongoing, evolutionary journey. With the right kind of support, healing becomes not just possible but inevitable. My approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and a confident trust in the process from experience. I also recognize the importance of addressing systemic issues, including the impacts of white supremacy, both in my practice and in myself. I actively engage in personal study and transformation to unlearn and challenge these and other cultural conditionings, ensuring that my practice is a safe, inclusive space for all. I believe in the potential for every individual to reclaim their peace, power, and wholeness through the therapeutic process.
