About My Clients

If you are a queer person of color you bring to your relationships a history of intergenerational trauma and ongoing oppression that can feel like your body is turning against you. No wonder relationships can be hard. When you're already working so hard to navigate your own trauma and feel safe inside the world can feel too much. I help you turn your attention to the source of your vitality and strength, your body. We slowly work to help you to unwind patterns of trauma & feel at home within.

My Background and Approach

Certificate in somatic resourcing (2013), graduated with an M.A. in somatic counseling psychology from CIIS (2014), somatic experiencing intermediate year completed in 2023 and advanced with BIPOC cohort scheduled in 2024. I am affiliated with the following organizations: USABP, Bay Area Open Minds, Gaylesta, Queer Trans Therapist of Color Network, Sonoma County BIPOC Therapist Collective, Kink Aware Professionals, & Poly Friendly Professionals. I strive to personally and professionally build spaces that are embodied, queer, & decolonizing. I receive regular consultation in my practice specializations. I also have a lifelong practice of and reverence for embodied creative process, eros & pleasure activism, spirituality, & integration of psychedelic experiences. I practice vajrayana buddhism, art-making, conscious dance, & cross-cultural shamanism. I view embodiment, creativity, singing, dance, movement, sexual health, & non-ordinary states as indigenous to all our bodies.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My practice is grounded in values of radical embodiment, anti-racism, queer & trans liberation, & decolonizing gender, sexuality, & relationship. I view dismantling of colonial cisheteropatriarchal structures, including gender binaries & mononormativity, as forms of queering & decolonizing. In my practice I strive to integrate these broad values through a embodied experiential practice. I help folx develop gentle compassionate curiosity about their inner bodily landscape as an entry point to reclaiming their direct inner & ancestral knowing.
