About My Clients
My clients usually identify as queer or gender diverse or both. I also work a lot with intersectional identities and everyone is welcome within my practice. I offer letters of support to help with pursuing gender affirming medical care. I am trained in trauma reprocessing and can help with that as well. A lot of my clients are also neurodivergent in some way so I'm happy to accommodate in any way possible if accommodations are needed.
My Background and Approach
I graduated with my Master's in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR. I have worked in a women's prison, domestic violence resource center, community mental health agencies, inpatient hospital, and in-home services. Currently I have been in private practice for 2 years and have found my skills best fit this style of work. I am trained in EMDR, Gestalt, Narrative, CBT, and DBT. I approach every client as a whole person and hold no judgements or expectations. I meet you where you are at to best serve you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a firm advocate for the LGBTQ community and believe in the BLM movement. I try to frame all my work from an anti-racist worldview. I am a socialist with radical political views. In my limited free time I enjoy watching anime, reading fantasy novels, writing fiction, and spending time with my friends, family, and pets.
