Adjustments, transitions and unexpected events are stressors I have supported clients with over the past ten years. Recognizing and understanding how we are reacting to them can help identify which coping strategies may yield the best results to better manage our emotions in response.
Attending and completing various Cognitive Behavioral Therapy trainings over the years has assisted me in building and solidifying my knowledge base to support individuals who are experiencing anxiety symptoms (worry, fear, nervousness, restlessness, disruptions to sleep or appetite - to name a few). A large percentage of individuals that I have supported over the years have experienced some form of anxiety and have learned coping strategies to increase their symptom management.
Recognizing the subtle symptoms of depression can sometimes be difficult to do and after years of working with individuals who experience some form of depression, I am able to teach you how to recognize and acknowledge the symptoms interfering with your daily activities. Completing trainings on how to best utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in treating depressive symptoms have also helped me establish, refresh and expand my toolkit to best support individuals experiencing depressive symptoms.
