About My Clients
You just can't get that voice in your head to shut-up. It feels like it plays on a continuous loop predicting every worst-case scenario imaginable. You try deep breathing and telling yourself that whatever you are worrying about is no big deal, but that does not change the fact that you feel so fucking stressed and anxious. It was once different. Life felt a little easier. But now, you are exhausted and generally overwhelmed with your life. You know you can't keep going at this pace.
My Background and Approach
I am more or less an "everyday guy.” I’m a dad, a husband and a friend. I find I relate to almost all my clients because our lives are usually pretty similar. Understanding is the first part. Making changes is the second. They say "you can’t control the waves, but you can learn how to surf." Working together, I can help you learn to surf those waves and determine how to bring more purpose into your life. As the old proverb goes in order to change your life, you have to start changing your life. It’s important to remember that I can’t make the changes for you. You have to take steps to make those changes but to borrow a boxing analogy, I will be like your corner man helping you create and implement your own personal game so that you can find relief from suffering and enjoy life again.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I remember the nerves I felt when I first started therapy. It's not easy and it takes courage, but that first step is worth it because at the end of today, there will be one less day for all of us on this earth and we might as well live it as fully as we can.
