Anxious, fighting depression, afraid of uncertainties, isolated, lost of loved ones, family issues, mood changes, feeling abandoned, misunderstood, lost of respect from others, not sure of spirituality? I know what that is like. I tool am a senior who have suffered from the hands of others since the beginning of childhood and not too long ago as an aging adult. It took a very long time to figure out that I need help with my concerns. Please do not wait too long to reach out for help.
As a teen I had problems knowing who I am. I never fit in with others, I felt that I did not belong. Most times I didn't know if I was coming or going. The friends were not really friends for they were just as lost as I was. No understanding. I had problems getting along with others because I always thought that I was not good enough. I did not have anyone to talk with for the fear of feelings being judged. No I am not a teen now, but I sure do understand teens going through this.
Abuse comes in many forms. Others lying on you, saying that you are stupid, make you think that you are less value. Yes! This is abuse too! Not just physical abuse but emotional abuse is just as harmful. Well it stops here! I can help you with painful realities such as, not getting what's important for your life to be at it's very best, being looked over, not seeing yourself worth, and most importantly, not seeing you at all! I want to work with you on seeing you and how important you are.
Narrative Therapy allows for a person to rewrite the script. It allows for you to state that you are not the problem, the problem is the problem. You can benefit by learning to forgive yourself by thinking about what makes a happier you. You are able to say what your story is because it is your story that makes you feel better. So then, you become the expert of your life while learning to embrace your being. Overall, you will be able to call your own shots with confidents.
(CBT) this therapy helps reduce symptoms of stress, depression, and anxiety disorders. CBT allows for one to be able to express themselves without feeling guilty. So, it can be thought of as talk therapy without judgment. The therapist will take you into a place in your mind where you are able to relax and think about who you are with yourself. Overall, you will feel better about the choices you make and people you surround yourself with which makes a peaceful you.
"Mindfulness" is a meditation that helps you gain a greater awareness of self. It allows you to be able to tap into you subconscious where all your secrets are buried. You can practice it by walking, sitting with your thoughts and listening to your surroundings. You will be able to observe your experience, focus on your breathing, and attending to your body and and physical sensations. In addition, yoga helps facilitate deep thoughts. The key is to learn deep breathing .
