While ‘talking it out’ or ‘venting’ can be helpful, I also want you to be able to measure your progress. We will explore specific skills you can implement in your life. You will begin to hear your inner voice and learn how to gain more control over your life by being strategic about where you use your energy.
Through our work together, you can get back in sync with yourself, establish a firm footing and develop clarity around goals. You will have the skills needed to balance life’s demands and be present for loved ones, while taking a break for yourself. In a nutshell, you will create a life that is purpose driven and fulfilling.
As a human being, you will make the best decisions when you have as much information as possible. With me, the therapy process is like holding up a mirror for you to see your life from different angles. I will help you reflect on and make sense of your inner experiences - this is where change happens.
OPTIMISM is "hopefulness and confidence about the future or the successful outcome of something." Everyone is filled with the capacity for change. Often people have tried to change so many times that they lose their own sense of optimism - the belief in themselves. I to hold that hope and optimism for you until you can hold it yourself.
GRATITUDE is "the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation and to return kindness." I am in awe of every client who is willing to share so much of themselves with me. By focusing energy toward a perspective of thankfulness and appreciation, we will in turn see more and more for which to be thankful.
HUMILITY is "the quality and state of not thinking you are better than other people." No one has everything in life figured out. In therapy, I believe we each bring bring integral knowledge and strengths to each session. We pull the best from each other - this is what propels you toward growth and lasting change.
