About My Clients
I see families, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing relationship conflict and distress. I help people who feel disconnected from themselves and others to understand interpersonal patterns that are no longer serving them so you can feel more authentic, joyful, and connected.
My Background and Approach
Are you looking for more authentic and joyful connections in your life? Do you want to feel more like yourself and live your life with integrity and healthy boundaries? Therapy can help. As a psychologist, family therapist, and former school counselor I provide unique perspective and expertise to help you and your loved ones achieve long-lasting change. We often seek therapy when the patterns we developed as self-protection in our early relationships are no longer working. I will encourage you to honor the creativity and strength evident in how you protected yourself, while helping you develop and practice new ways of relating that are more adaptive for your current life. You can live your life with more authenticity and less shame. You can experience relationships fully and feel known for who you truly are.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Who I am informs the lens with which I see the world. My identities cannot be untangled from who I am as a person and from my profession, nor do I want them to be. I encourage my clients to show up as their authentic selves - I work best one-on-one when we can talk about what it means to truly be yourself. I pledge to use my voice as a psychologist to stand for justice, equity, and inclusion. It is important to me to give back to my community. I am involved in professional organizations, pro bono work, mentorship, and social action. I experience professional fulfillment and joy when my clients feel connected to the people they love, and feel accepted and seen for who they are.
