About My Clients
I work with adult couples and individuals experiencing a variety of presenting concerns. I often work with folks who are looking for ways to decrease anxiety, increase well-being, and improve relationships.
My Background and Approach
I hold a PhD in Counseling and am a Licensed Professional Counselor- Supervisor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate in Texas (LMFT Supervisor is Dr. Abbassi). I work diligently to stay current in my field so that I am able to provide you with research-based interventions that can support you as you find congruence in your life. I regularly participate in professional development, peer supervision, and I read relevant research in academic journals and books. It is very important to me to continually broaden and deepen my knowledge base so that I can provide you with the tools that are proven to contribute to your well-being. I am especially interested in mindfulness and movement and their relationship to well-being. I have experience working with people with many presenting concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship dissatisfaction, and LGBTQ+ issues. I use EMDR trauma reprocessing to help folks dealing with a variety of concerns.
