About My Clients
Are you struggling with anxious thoughts, low moods, or just going through challenging life changes? Is this impacting your life and relationships? Collaboratively, we can discuss your goals, and learn skills to change behavioral patterns and more effectively navigate your internal experiences and challenges in your life. I look forward to teaching you tools to face those challenges and feel confident in your ability to tackle problems as they arise.
My Background and Approach
I am an Associate Social Worker who has experience providing individual and group therapy services to adults and young adults. I am passionate about helping people achieve their goals, reduce suffering, and build a life worth living. I assist individuals in exploring and working through current stressors and life challenges. As a therapist with two different cultures of origin, I welcome diversity and awareness of how culture and context may influence a person’s life. I also have experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals and provide affirming, strength-based care. I have training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy (CT-R) for psychosis. I am currently running several DBT skills groups as well as a Connect with Pride LGBTQ+ process group.
