About My Clients

Are you feeling hopeless and disconnected from the person you've always longed to become? Do you find yourself constantly worried about the worse case scenario or have trouble feeling safe and accepted? Maybe now is the time to give yourself the space to finally heal. I know how draining and just plain exhausting it can be to feel like you are constantly running on empty. You deserve the space to reconnect with yourself and to create the life you hope for!

My Background and Approach

During the therapy process, I enjoy adding elements of mindfulness, acceptance, authenticity, and humor to help you feel empowered to be the boss of your life while living in accordance with your values. I know the struggle that hopelessness and anxiety can create, and my goal is to empower you to learn the skills you need to take back control over your emotions, feel fulfilled, and live the life you hope for. I got my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Wake Forest University. I have specialized training in treating anxiety disorders including OCD, GAD, and social anxiety. I am trained in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Exposure & Response Prevention, Inference-Based CBT, and Koru Mindfulness. I also have some experience with Trauma-informed CBT. My previous work experiences include crisis counseling, school counseling, group work, and brief intervention services for those who experienced trauma, crises, or otherwise life-changing events.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that everyone has the capacity to experience growth and inner healing, and I offer a range of evidence-based therapies tailored to each individual's unique needs, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Exposure & Response Prevention, and more. I believe that mental health care does not stop in the counseling space, but continues through advocacy for social and political change.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
