I have experience working with adult and adolescent clients and their families, who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, low self-esteem, trauma, school-related issues and difficulties with parenting. Whether you are seeking a place to process difficulties, improve your mood or build skills to be your best self, I aim to facilitate a warm and supportive space to do so, at your own pace.
My Background and Approach
I understand how difficult it can be to make the decision to seek support, to navigate the system and find a therapist that you connect with. The client-therapist relationship is truly significant and I believe that with the trust and security of this relationship, it is one of the biggest catalysts for change. With me, I aim to provide you a safe space where you can be wholly you and free of judgement. Through empathy and authenticity, I believe this opens the door to connection and fosters healing. My approach is largely strengths-based which centers around identifying each individual's unique, inherent resources to build confidence to overcome obstacles and reach their desired goals. Instead of a “one size fits all approach” I also individualize the techniques I use to fit my clients' needs such as drawing from CBT, ACT, DBT, Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused and more.
